Faye Smith
Faye Smith is the byline on TryMyBio’s celebrity profiles. She covers biographies, net worth, fashion, entertainment news and trending stories, the questions people actually type into Google at midnight about someone they just saw on screen.
How these profiles get written
Celebrity writing has a reputation problem, and it earned it. Net worth figures get copied between sites until nobody remembers where the number came from. Relationship “news” gets built out of deleted photos. Birthdays get invented.
TryMyBio works the other way round.
Every profile starts with primary sources.
The person’s own website, their verified social accounts, their agency or employer page, on-record interviews. Where those don’t cover it, the standard drops to established outlets that show their work, the ones that quote the actual statement or embed the actual post.
Aggregator sites are never treated as sources.
If a claim only exists on profile sites copying each other, it either gets reported as widely circulated, or it doesn’t run.
What you won’t find here
Net worth figures presented as fact. Nobody outside an accountant’s office knows what a celebrity is worth. Where estimates exist, they’re described as estimates, with what’s actually known about the person’s income.
Relationship claims nobody confirmed. A deleted photo is not a breakup. If neither party has said anything, that’s what the article says.
Anything about a person’s body. Height, if it’s on record. Nothing else.
Private-life speculation. Health, sexuality, family disputes, unless the person has spoken about it publicly themselves.
Content about minors beyond their public work.
When we get it wrong
Corrections get made and dated, in the article, not quietly. A biography site that never corrects anything is a site that isn’t checking.
Keeping profiles current
Ages change. Net worth reports get updated. Careers move. Every TryMyBio profile carries a last verified date, and profiles get revisited on a regular cycle rather than left to age.
Something wrong in a profile? Get in touch. Corrections from the people we write about are taken seriously and handled fast.
